Fumed Silica VIPs Core Materials

Vacuum Insulation Panel consisting of Fumed Silica Core Material have two major parts: Fumed Silica core material and high barrier laminates. As a special composite made of core materials and protective film, integrated with the superiority of vacuum insulation and micro-pore heat insulation, effectively stopping convective heat transfer to perfect thermal insulation. With a thermal conductivity of lower than 0.0045w/m.k and minimum thickness of 5mm thicknesses, vacuum insulation panel based on fumed silica core material uses fumed silica core materials with a higher expected lifetime and the environmental protection materials that can be recycled and reused.

The best way to utilise the high insulation value VIPs is to ensure they have been fully encapsulated/protected at the manufacturing stage, thus eliminating the risk of puncture during installation and use. 

IPs have widespread use in specific technological sectors where their performance is not affected by their delicacy and poor versatility, as in manufacturing of cold-storage cells, electrical appliances, and in particular containers for the transport of low-temperature material, in which the high performance with low thickness and weight give advantages for reduced payload users such as carriers of air cargo.

VIP insulation is also viable for low-temperature applications such as refrigerators, water heater, cold chain, building, water purifer with fumed silica core panels.
